Many women see me after being told that their operation needs a large open incision, or that their fibroids or endometriosis are too extensive. I can often offer keyhole or robotic surgery instead, and I will explain what can be achieved.
Second opinionsPain that goes on for years without a clear answer may be caused by endometriosis or adenomyosis. I will listen, scan you at the same visit where I can, and explain what I find and what can help.
EndometriosisIf a problem inside the womb, such as scar tissue, a septum, a polyp or a caesarean scar niche, may be playing a part, surgery can sometimes help. I work closely with King’s Fertility and the CRP Clinic.

Robotic and keyhole surgeryHow I practise
You will see me at your first consultation, for your operation, when the results come back and at your review afterwards.
At Parkside and the CRP Clinic I can perform an ultrasound scan during your consultation, so we can usually discuss what it shows there and then.
I set out every reasonable option, including the option of no surgery, and give you my recommendation. The decision stays with you.
You will receive a detailed letter, usually emailed within 30 minutes of your appointment, and full written information well before any operation.

Keyhole surgery for large fibroids

I welcome referrals for complex endometriosis, large or complex fibroids, hysteroscopic surgery for Asherman's syndrome, niche, septum and polyps, and second opinions. You will receive a detailed letter after every consultation, usually within 30 minutes, and my secretary, Helen, is your named point of contact.
I hold video clinics on Monday and Wednesday evenings, so if you live further away or abroad, we can begin with a video consultation. I can review your scans and reports beforehand, so that if you do need to travel, your visit is planned and as short as possible. Consultations are available in English or Arabic.
